Lincoln is a beautiful city in Placer County, California, part of the Sacramento metro area. Founded in 1860, it is now one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S., with an estimated population of 48,279. Its2019 population is already estimate, so its growth rate is predicted to continue to increase in the coming years. Tourists will find many fascinating Lincoln local landmarks, including State Historic Landmarks.

Among the most popular attractions in Lincoln California are the Old Town Square, the City Hall, and the Lighthouse. The Old Town Square is located at Front Street, across from the train station. Built in 1856, it is an original landmark designed by Charles Waterhouse. Its architecture includes two streets facing each other on the square block, a fountain, and a street-lamp.

Here, tourists can see the historic Snowmobile National Monument and the Flathead Indian Reservation.

But perhaps the best reason to visit Lincoln is the cuisine. Lincoln chefs bring local, fresh ingredients and great culinary styles to every meal. Guests often find a new favorite after sampling the food. Local restaurants in Lincoln include City Cafe, Sapphire Laguna, and Lincoln Market & Deli. And no trip to Lincoln would be complete without stopping to enjoy the local music.
